Advocate pet test strips. I have never in my life seen the amount of garbage come out of someones mouth in such a rush as with this guy sabet - and that includes the orange man, at least he keeps it down to one lie per minute... Rape Kya murder se bda ho gya kya... 1 aurat ne pura Hindustan utha rkha h wo bhi Mari Hui ye zinda hoti to Kya Kya krti... Why advocate homosexuality. Law is supreme CooL 😊. Essay role of advocate in pakistan. Advocate for. It seems that I have all characters of both INFJ and INTJ(except arrogance) what is my actual personality type. Images and messages happy birthday for a advocate.

Did Alexander the Great advocate racial purity. Why the effort to cover up the temp tag and then leave some frames uncovered? Great video as always. “Confessions of a Dangerous Mind” Despite being one of the more complex and interesting songs on the album, lyrically. This song is actually incredibly direct. Here, we find Logic venting his thoughts about his own self-image, how the critique from others makes him feel, his experiences of depressive episodes, and very importantly, the effects social media have had on his life. He makes it be known that he feels pressured to act a certain way, to rap a certain way, and to think a certain way. He has spoken about this before when he mentions that its hard being online and reading thousands of comments every single day saying that you should kill yourself, be better, do this, do that, youre not good enough, etc. He also mentions in the song “I should kill myself”. But, it seems less like hes suffering from suicidal thoughts but more like hes being controlled to think that way. It sounds like hes convinced that hell never be better than any of his inspirations, not because he thinks that, but because people have told him so. An interesting line is “Searching for bliss only led me to searching for hits / Only led me to battle depression / I dont learn my lesson ‘cause fame never lessen the pain”. Why this is interesting is because if you look at a majority of the songs on this album, most sound exactly like what a typical ‘hit rap song would sound like. So, why did he do it if he knows its bad for his health? At the end of the song, he manages to gain some strength and encourage himself to love himself. However, once again, it doesnt feel genuine. What does loving yourself mean in this context? Because this is the only song on this album that contains any self-awareness or reflection of any kind. As soon as the song is over, the entire mood, theme, and sound of the album changes. This isnt poor song structure, this is a deliberate method. The rest of the album is Logic loving himself a little too much, and in the wrong way. Why? Because hes had all these messages, people, and proof online that he should. He feels that he should act this way. Hes been convinced that loving himself in this way is the answer. Logic isnt in-control anymore. “Homicide” This track marks the beginning of Logics out-of-control behaviour. Immediately, you can see the effects of what we spoke about before. Logic has never sounded like this before. Listen to how animated he sounds. He sounds erratic, feral, not like Logic. The subject matter of what he raps is also nothing like what he has done before. The simplicity, the plainness, its so out of character. This isnt Bobbys decline in writing ability, he can spit bars, we know he can. This isnt lazy either. The effort hes making to rap so animated and out of character is clearly telling us something. Hes doing this on purpose. Additionally, hear the metallic sound of Logics voice. It sounds fake. Also, the line where we hear “maybe thats a little bit of an exaggeration” is like a tiny glimpse at the true logic. “Wannabe” To address this immediately. This song is not Logic sympathising with anyone. Listen close to the references to drugs and violence. A dark and evil voice speaks “How much does fame weigh? A gram. ” Social media glorifies drug use and possession of it. This ties into the song “Cocaine” later on in the album. The repetition of “I wanna be famous” sounds very strange. Once again, there is a strange metallic feel to his voice. It sounds like a computer. It sounds synthetic. Its a little out there to say this, but this sounds more like something within Logic saying that it wants to be famous and is using Logics body to gain fame, more than it sounds like Logic playing a character. “What cant I be famous? ” This ‘thing really wants it. Its screaming for it. It gets clearer to see this every time I listen to the song. This song is the second time other artists are mentioned. However, in the opening track, Logic mentions it in a meaningful way. Here, he doesnt. On this song, this thing thats inside Logic is saying it for attention. Logic would never call Kanye crazy. Why? Because the way Logic is acting right now is crazy. We get a quick glimpse of self-awareness on this song when he raps “Why you think homeboy aint on the internet no more? ” speaking about himself. He sounds detached from reality. The thing controlling Logic knows Logics struggle with social media and is basically mocking him. Mocks Kanye, mocks YG, then mocks Logic, then says “Motherfuck all of you”. This thing is basically saying fuck you to everyone. Social media will win and control everyone, it has confidence. “clickbait” Instantly, the contrast shown in the intro shows how broken and mindless this thing has Logic. Logic hears how good he is, but its easily drowned out by the negative comments he receives. Logic literally says “all these thoughts that im having are not mine”. Hes telling us that everything he thinks about himself doesn't even stem from himself. Its all from social media. Listen to how mindless and unlike Logic he raps like. Logic never says shit like “suck my dick until i nut and then i go”. He has no reason to, and definitely wouldnt talk about his wife like that. It sounds like his imitating. This thing controlling Logic is imitating the world it sees. Girls are popular. Drugs are popular. Cheating is popular. Drama is popular. Sex is popular. So, it references all of it. It has the confidence, but not the intelligence to see past these things. It only sees numbers. Listen to how Logic goes from speaking on sensitive topics like Lil Peeps death and homophobia and dissing people to saying “slap a bitch in the face and then i count my wealth”. Since when does Logic sound like this? He doesnt. Because it isnt him. Also, Logic has never publicly dissed anybody. And he has no reason to start now. Even on Yuck he doesnt mention any names. The thing is so cocky. “Thats the shit make people click”. Then for a glimpse once again, Logic says “thats the shit that make me sick” and then that little “so” at the end was cut off. Logic is trying to breakthrough, he cant though. “Mama / Show Love” Now, there isnt too much to interpret on this song. Its a pretty solid brag-rap track. However, somethings that we can bring up is Logics demeaning tone of voice. It almost seems that he is talking down upon everybody, which isnt something that he normally does. Of course he has his fair share of brag rap songs, but he seems to be actively attacking and degrading people on this song. In his second verse, he makes a big deal about comparisons. I feel at this point Logics controller feels pretty satisfied and confident with the fame it has obtained. So, it basically taunts everybody. How theyre stupid for spending their money, how it has bigger plans than them, and theyre all lost to the world. It may also be talking about Logic himself. It may be taunting Logic in that way that seems like “I own you. Youve lost yourself to me. I run this shit now” kinda like that (I described that in a lighthearted way, but you see what Im saying. The second part of the track “Show Love” seems again like another attempt to gain attention by mentioning other famous people. Also, it's good to point out that this is a section of a song where Logics controller seems out of character. Logic pushed through a little harder this time to try and spread some love. Something that we all know is very important to Logic. He has always wished that rap was more loving than violent. So, theres some true Logic in there. However, it's so clouded out by the first half of the track. “Out of Sight” Logics controller has really pushed Logic down in this song. Hear how dead Logic sounds on this one. He sounds bored. Confident though. The controller is literally just repeating himself. Why? Because once again, its learnt that fame and attention is a numbers game. What does it mention here? Money and big expenses. Whats something thats often rewarded on social media? Showing off your money and big expenses. So, thats exactly what it makes Logic do. Just to reiterate, listen to how tired Logic sounds. He sounds worn out. Its tiring doing the same thing over and over and over again. “Pardon My Ego” This one is similar to “Out Of Sight”. First verse. Exactly the same as Out Of Sight. Second verse, heres where we can see the controller incredibly clearly. Firstly, the mention of Kid Cudi. Someone that Logic has looked up to his whole life. He would never call him crazy, and definitely not publicly, and definitely not on a song. This also applies to Kanye Wests mention here. Another one of Logics greatest inspirations. He wouldnt say something like this. On Logics song America, he briefly touched on Kanye Wests political options, but did so in a very respectful way. This verse is incredibly out of character for him. Additionally, Logic is a big advocate for mental health awareness and assistance, and also suffers a mental health issue of his own (anxiety, and we are assuming experiences of depression if this first song was truthful. So, it is apparent to me that this isnt what it seems. The controller is making him say outrageous things for attention and misunderstands how mental health is perceived. On social media, mental health has become almost a trend. Nowadays, everybody throws around terms and illnesses and apply them to theirselves for attention. Many are real and should be taken seriously with respect, but as all things, many are also faked for extra internet points. It is possible that the controller has interpreted this as "if I mention mental health, famous people, and say outrageous things. I get more likes, attention, views, followers, money to my name. And, its absolutely right. Unfortunately, those things are rewarded. As the saying goes, any attention is good attention. “COMMANDO” On this song, Logics controller once again mentions everything that gets attention. Drugs, sex, girls, money, being famous, etc, etc. Once again, notice the repetition, the blandness, the imitation of the popular online world. Once again, it mentions famous people, Justin Bieber, Michael Jackson and Donald Glover. All for attention. At the end of the verse, we see once again a little glimpse of Logic saying “Bobby sell albums, no he dont sell drugs”. He isnt really telling us, we already know that. Hes saying it to his controller and to himself. Hes telling the controller that he just makes music, he doesnt want to be involved with the drug culture in the way that it appears on social media. Hes also telling himself. The controller is making Bobby believe that he is this person hes being portrayed as, so he says it to reaffirm himself that he is a musician, not a dealer, not a sex addict, not anything hes being forced to say he does. “Icy” This song is the most obvious presentation of the behaviour of the controller and social media. In regards to the lyrics, listen to the words, this isnt Logic. This track is similar to “Mama” in terms of the confidence levels and the subject matter. He sounds confident and alive, but also, so dead. It feels more like his mocking and imitating the person hes portraying more than he actually describes himself. Many people think he is pretending to be all these mumble, bling rappers. I dont think so, not Logic anyway. The controller is. The controller is trying to mimic everyone else. All the trendy rappers. All the trendy influencers. Look at the music video, its exactly that. The music video actually says a lot. Its a great visualisation of Logic feeling forced and told what to do and how to do it. Another thing to note is yet another mention of a celebrity (Billie Eillish. Why? For attention. Why else? Its easy. Also, at the end of the video, Logic is wearing a plain black tee, walking alongside a building extremely similar to the one shown in the Under Pressure deluxe album cover after being robbed and losing all his expensive items. Logic, in real-life, not the album version, is doing this very deliberately. There would be no reason to have that imagery in there, other than to foreshadow something to come. Quickly, a prediction I have is that there will be a music video for a song off of his next project that picks up where Icy left off. “Still Ballin” Another brag-rap track. Everything about the previous tracks applies to this one. Mentioning Kanye, Kobe, Cordae, Seth MacFarlane, Nicki Minaj, Lemony Snicket, and just featuring Wiz Khalifa. The lines about sex, money, and fame. Again, not common things for Logic to rap about, and definitely not in the way that he has before. Its repeating itself over and over and over. The controller knows this is what will get it attention. Its easy, its so formulaic. Again, listen to how confident it sounds on the mic. It knows what its doing. “Cocaine” Instantly, Logic gives us a glimpse of the true him with the line “Percocet, my rep move up like a dolly / If I talk about this shit more often prolly”. Hes saying how easy it is to be rewarded just by mentioning drugs and being involved in its culture. Again, we hear him speak about drugs, mentioning Donald Glover, how he needs a bad bitch, hes not a lover, sex. Typical things you find in popular social media pictures, videos, music and people. For the people that know Logic as best as we can through what we see, we know he isnt about any of those things. In the second verse, we see more glimpses of Logic trying to overcome the controller in his entire second verse. This is the first time we see such a big push of the true Logic speaking to us. Unfortunately, other than the comments on racism, unfairness and drug culture, we dont get a lot of information about his mind state or the effects of social media. But fair enough, maybe this song didnt call for it. “Limitless” Personal favourite. On this song we see more of Bobby in the words, and I say that because there are several references to real-life scenarios and his feelings on certain things in a more intimate level. Well, compared to the rest of the album where his personality was pushed aside by his controller. Aside from the brag-rap bars, the mentions of money, fame, hate, drugs and sex, there isnt too much to dissect that we havent covered in the other songs. But there are two main things I would like to cover. His metallic voice. Its the most synthetic it has ever sounded on this whole album. This leads to me believing that the thing controlling Logic has gotten better at mimicking him. Which comes up again in a couple tracks. He sounds so much like hes trying to convince himself that hes great, more than him actually bragging. The hate, the comments, the controller, its making him doubt himself. So, hes trying to rebuild his confidence. Another take I have to offer on this is that the controller is actually the one trying to convince itself and its audience how great it is. Whichever it is, an ego boost is definitely being attempted. Another thing to note is that Logic actually raps “I aint been on the ‘Gram in months, that shit get me too annoyed”. Another point in which the true Logic steps in to say something of his own accord. Additionally, its odd that Logic says ‘you the man. Once again, feels like he isnt really talking to himself. In fact as I write this, it makes me feel that the thing controlling Logic is actually trying to convince Logic that he really is this character hes made him out to be. Kinda like brainwashing. “Keanu Reeves” This one I actually dont have much to interpret with. Its straight forward and pretty clearly unrelated to the album. Whys it on there? Because its easy to pass off as apart of the theme. He says some pretty similar stuff as the other songs, but theres a disconnect between this song and the others. Its more personal and self-aware and actually fits in quite well with the fact that at this point in the album, Logic has gained a little more ability to have his own voice. But, still, Im not convinced this song is actually meant for the album. Its more of a single that doesnt belong to an album. “Dont Be Afraid To Be Different” Here we have Logics controller attempting to recreate Logics positive message. It cant be Logic without Peace, Love, and Positivity right? It has to be convincing. What else gets attention? Big names and positive messages being preached by them. Think Leonardo DiCaprio preaching about climate change. Well, here we have the legendary and world-renowned Will Smith on a song called “Dont Be Afraid To Be Different” to empower people. “BOBBY” Simultaneously pointing out that people will assume you are bigheaded just because your famous, and continuing to act bigheaded. Bobby does this deliberately. It makes no sense. Its ironic. Its stupid. Its meaningless. Bobby has made feel good, fuck em all music before, good ones at that. This is pointless for him to make. Therefore, I believe this is another addition to Logics controllers attempts to convince Logic that he is something other than himself. That hes bigger. That hes better than he really is. It wants Logic to believe. To brainwash him. Listen to how confident and alive Logic sounds on this song. He sounds less robotic, more like Bobby, its great imitation. But he still sounds off. I feel at this point, Logic has been taken over about 95. There isnt much of the true him in there. In the next song, youll see why. Also, the beat is amazing. Another quick point, I also feel at this point, the controller has done an amazing job at mimicking Logic. Its covered the race references, the confidence level, the success mentions, video games, movies, the come up story references, peace love and positivity, and including his inspirations in his songs. Whats left? Well, just some fast flows and some “Young Sinatra” type bars and then youve nailed it. “Lost In Translation” One of the two most loved songs on this album alongside the title track. Why? Because both sound the most like Bobby it has ever been the whole album. Why? Because the controller has finally nailed it. On this track, Logic (or really the controller) brings some incredibly fast flows and some great bars. Notice how he still references other famous people, but it feels so much more natural and not needy. It doesnt sound like he does for it the attention this time. It sounds he really did use them to play on their names and persons to set up good bars and punchlines. Now, for the most interesting part of the whole album. This is the translated version of the Japanese spoken word to close off the album. “Thanks for joining us for Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. It was wonderful, wasnt it? I hope you enjoyed it. However, if you dont like Logic, please cover your ears or just leave. But actually, you cant help but love Logic, right? Every day you cant help but think of him. Youve become obsessed without noticing. RattPack all over the world, we have made our mark in history together. I will always love you and am grateful for you. From Maryland to Japan, with love. RattPack, motherfucker. ” Now, to dissect this. “Thanks for joining us…” yep thats all good. “It was wonderful, wasnt it? I hope you enjoyed it” This part intrigues me. It sounds more like someone asking for recognition or acceptance than it does genuinely asking. Kind of like: Hey, my imitation of Logic was pretty good, right" You know what I mean? It doesnt even seem like Logic wrote this part. It really feels like someone else made this whole album and is asking us how we found it to be credited. “If you dont like Logic, please cover your ears or just leave. But actually, you cant help but love Logic, right? Every day you cant help but think of him. Youve become obsessed without noticing. ” This is very odd. This sounds very unlike Logic as well. Why would this thing say this? Almost like its convinced that its managed to get everybody on board and love it. As if talking about all these things (money, drugs, women and sex) made Logic more respected and therefore more famous. It wanted the attention. Logic also said this in the past "If people feel I never had a good project or that the last one was a mixtape from ten years ago then why are you still listening. Why every time I release a song do you go over every single line. Every word. Every frame of a music video? If you hate me, or cole or Travis or the fuckin kardashians why are you still watching. Why are you still talking? Because you are obsessed. And then "The fact is no matter how much you think you know us or me. You dont and until you shake my hand and have a conversation with me you never will. So enjoy it if your with it. Love it all the way and let the message seep through deeper than any bar, mixtape, album, video, concert or novel. A message of peace love and positivity. And leave the constant judgment of every move I make to yourself if you dont like me. (But you wont because you HAVE TO. You cant control yourself) And that. is COADM in a nutshell, but so far removed from my own personal involvement. And focusing on the betterment of our society given the onslaught of negativity that is housed in social media. This is very significant. This album is so much more than turn-up music. “RattPack all over the world, we have made our mark in history together. I will always love you and am grateful for you. From Maryland to Japan, with love. RattPack, motherfucker” This sounds like Logic. He finally broke through at the last moment. He seems at peace. Or, he seems like hes accepted his fate and is saying goodbye with a last message. But, it also sounds like a perfect transition into the next album. He finally returns and Logic is back. Lets find out. One last thing. This album explores the mind of someone who is being forced and controlled to think, act, and feel a certain way. This mysterious ‘thing that seems to have taken control of Logics judgement, behaviour and intelligence seemed to desire attention and fame. When this album was released, it immediately received incredible amounts of negative judgement. Labeled worst album of the year, the decade and Logics entire career. But, remember. Any attention is good attention.

Why is this dubbed to japaneese.
S. advocate.
Smoke a jumbo rock and then cornhole a chick in the butt. Sounds like fun.

What is a legal advocate. You find talent and delegate it I love it... Quite the whiny and weak character. Al is amazing. It's the new priesthood baby. Kerala advocates welfare fund amendment rules 2018. Advocate narendra joshi and associate. What did Copernicus advocate. Great Job. very nice. Reddit. com/r/KotakuInAction/comments/ajy6r3/discussionmiscsocjus_has_anyone_else_noticed_this/ I've noticed an increasing trend among social justice warriors encouraging the unironic usage of terminology typically associated with anti-SJW people in an attempt to write off opinions they don't like. What's interesting about this is that it wasn't too long ago when these people claimed their movement was supposed to be all about being compassionate and sensitive toward other people, even if it was obvious that they didn't really mean it. But now, it seems they've finally dropped the act of being the "good people" in favor of just flat-out insulting people with the same "triggered snowflakes" language they used to claim was offensive. Take this thread on Twitter for example. If the reason why people are taking issue with the original post isn't already obvious enough, try replacing "white man" with any other demographic and maybe you'll see the what the problem is. The whole joke revolves around the idea that people of a certain race and gender are all guilty of being "overly sensitive" by mere association. However, instead of the original poster getting the blame for making such a crass remark (and posting an obnoxious copypasta, no less) it's the people pointing out the problems with it who are getting called "toxic. Now I want you all to imagine the outrage that would commence if the the tweet said "woman of color" instead "white man. It would be branded as a "bad take" and writing it off as "toxic femininity" would be ludicrous because it would downplay the legitimate criticisms people would rightfully be bringing up. So why is it that when someone says the same thing about white men, it's suddenly the fault of the people criticizing the tweet? That's not "toxic masculinity" at work, it's just a bunch of people pointing out a double standard. Aside from being a blatant generalization done solely for the sake of throwing shade at millions of complete strangers, it also attempts to dehumanize them by comparing them to female genitals. Speaking of which, I wonder why regressive radical feminists have an odd obsession with their own genitals? Could it be that they're just as guilty of "compensating" as the "sensitive men" they're ridiculing are? We hear about men having "measuring contests" all the time, yet despite all the talk we hear from radical feminists about how "that's proof that toxic masculinity exists. they seem to have no problem doing the same thing themselves. It's only when someone tells a joke at the expense of people who share their worldview that they take issue with dehumanization. In other words, according to these people, it's okay to belittle millions of men around the world with a sex joke and call anyone who takes issue with it a "crying manbaby" but the moment someone else makes a similar joke about "raging NPCs" suddenly they're more than eager to complain about the joke being dehumanizing. What's really ironic is that I've actually seen a lot of these people throwing terms like "snowflake" around whenever they disagree with someone else despite being the same people who were denouncing that sort of terminology as "abusive and dismissive" just a few months earlier. This applies to gamers as well. How many times have you seen social justice warriors calling everyone here "a bunch of virgins who can't get a date" for discussing gaming-related drama? By their own logic, shouldn't that classify as the exact same sort of "toxic masculinity" they claim to be against? After all, they're basically just judging other people's worth through the lens of male stereotypes and mocking them for expressing their emotions. Just look at all the people who are going around saying anyone who has problems with that infamous Gillette ad that came out recently is apparently just "threatened" because the ad is supposedly directed at them. What these people don't realize is that there's a big difference between taking issue with how a commercial handles its subject matter and feeling threatened. I think it's a disingenuous commercial with a half-baked message that makes no sense. Does that mean I find the ad threatening? No. Encouraging people to better themselves in their daily lives isn't inherently a bad message at all, but the way in which the Gillette commercial tries to oversimplify issues like bullying and sexual harassment by treating them as if they're exclusively men's issues just comes across as tone deaf, especially when it's simply being done to advertise a company that makes men's shaving products. I think that ad could've been much better if it had handled its subject matter better and wasn't so overly melodramatic and condescending. That's all. You can't denounce something, tell people not to use generalizing of language, then give yourself a free pass. That's called being a hypocrite. We've really reached a point where PC culture is collapsing in on itself, and now, in an attempt to stay relevant, the people leading the charge are now doing a complete 180 and contradicting their own standards. We have SJWs who, in an attempt to combat the increasing anti-SJW pushback they've received, have pivoted and have become anti-anti-SJWs of sorts, imitating all the perceived tactics of "anti-SJWs" like some sort of knockoff brand, and nowhere has this become more obvious than on YouTube, where we're seeing more and more copycat channels like The Progressive Voice and Claudia Brown popping up with their only purpose being to leech off of the popularity more successful personalities like Tim Pool and Bearing. They're essentially trying to do the same thing (with similar formats, visuals, titles, and thumbnails to the point of being almost indistinguishable from each other) but with the opposite ideology, leading to some of the most self-contradictory content imaginable. We have people like Shaun and Three Arrows attempting to give insightful political analysis on trending news stories like Sargon of Akkad and TL;DR do despite admitting to doing very little research and only making their videos to get attention, Philosophy Tube and Thought Slime posing as impartial philosophical channels despite clearly showing their political biases, Renegade Cut and Big Joel trying to review movies like Dr. Shaym and Armoured Skeptic do despite providing no opinions of their own outside of the typical leftist film critic talking points, Hbomberguy desperately trying to copy JonTron's video game commentary style despite lacking the charisma and likability, and ContraPoints trying to tell everyone that saying "traps are gay" is offensive while simultaneously trying to be a hard-hitting comedian like Steven Crowder. If the past few years have shown us anything, it's that these people have no standards and are willing to do anything to control the narrative, even if it means being completely contrary to the standards they push on everyone else. Honestly, I'm really tired of this "freedom for me, but not for thee" mentality going around on the Internet. It just reeks of blatant projection and proves how hypocritical social justice warriors are. As we already know, these people don't like free and open debate. If you have a different opinion, you're immediately demonized, and if you take issue with that, then they claim you're the "sensitive snowflake. It's ironic because these are the same people who want to make it so that the only things people can debate are trivial subjects that don't matter like what pizza toppings you prefer. They're essentially trying to undermine the purpose of public discourse to the point of having no substance by enforcing double standards when it comes to what other people can say. That's not how freedom of speech works. In real life, you don't just get to generalize other people and then act like it's somehow their fault for being upset, and just because you might not like what someone else has to say does not mean that person doesn't still have a right to be heard without being unfairly scrutinized. Remember all those leftist YouTubers I mentioned earlier? I wouldn't know anything about them if I didn't take time to watch their videos and hear their arguments, and as much as I may disagree with them, I'm not going to act like they don't still have a right to voice their opinions without being written off as "toxic" and getting shut down. The only people who truly deserve to be called "special snowflakes" are the social justice warriors who can't handle people with differing opinions and immediately look for any excuse they can find to ridicule them, whether it be labeling them as "overly sensitive" cherry picking "bad takes" in an attempt to misrepresent any arguments being made, or advocating for censorship. There's no such thing as blocking people in the real world, so the people who complain about "bad takes" really need to learn to accept that not everyone will agree with them and stop enforcing this hypocritical double standard they've created. After all, if social justice warriors truly cared about "calling out toxic behavior" in communities like these, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be so desperate to mimic us.

Advocate glucose meter. What was Calhoun an advocate for. What is client advocate. "Rachel Leah Jones and Philippe Bellaiches riveting new documentary pays tribute to the tenacity and selflessness of Jewish Israeli lawyer Lea Tsemel, a bitterly divisive figure in her home country on account of her unwavering dedication to Palestinian rights, and her willingness to defend anyone who uses violence to resist the Israeli occupation. [It is] a deeply bittersweet portrait of a magnetic individual. One of a recent trend of films that focus on female advocacy in adverse circumstances, including The Judge, RBG and So Help Me God, whatever you think of her personal politics, by the end of the film you're likely to feel the world needs more like Tsemel, while also realising what a big ask that is. Amber Wilkinson, Eye for Film "This documentary portrait of Israeli human rights lawyer Lea Tsemel gets absorbingly up close and personal. Compelling. Keith Uhlich, The Hollywood Reporter "The film is not militant but it is infuriating. It is also inspirational and full of heart. It ends in hope that, as long as there are people still living with compassion, there is still a chance for resolution, even if that resolution is – for now – nowhere in sight. It captures the humanity and pain that lays behind agression and labels, building an insightful picture of a flawed judicial system. One that brings no justice and more pain for those living in what seems a hopeless conflict in a part of the world we choose to see as very far away. Bianca-Olivia Nita, Modern Times Review "A heroic portrait of an Israeli lawyer who defends violent Palestinian offenders, Advocate is a lively exercise in documentary advocacy. The subject is Lea Tsemel, a 74-year-old political firebrand, who has dedicated her career to challenging Israels two-tier justice system, with different standards for Israeli citizens and Palestinians in the occupied territories. This self-described “angry and optimistic woman, ” is a natural cinema verité performer, full of flashing energy, quick sardonic retorts and unselfconscious in her moral convictions. Liam Lacey, Point of View Magazine "In this impressive documentary, Rachel Leah Jones and Philippe Bellaïche masterfully juxtapose two of Tsemels cases, one professional and the other personal: the defense of a minor accused of attempted murder and a past case in which she defended her activist husband from an accusation of treason against the state. Delicately animated sequences conceal defendants identities as Tsemel frankly addresses their best possible chances for acquittal, while interviews with Tsemels adult children reveal her unique ability to see the humanity of those accused. ADVOCATE is an original, provocative film that both exposes the human fallout of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and provides hope for a peaceful resolution. Basil Tsiokos, What (Not) to Doc. Advocate is largely a success as a piece of filmmaking – the directorial choices, from the minimal use of music for dramatic embellishment to the innovative split-screen technique used to blur the identities of individuals in courthouse footage, are spot-on throughout. Jones and Bellaïche have undoubtedly done right by their subject, here, but theres even more to it than that. In telling Tsemels story, theyve done their part to raise awareness of the same issues of justice and representation within the complicated, often tragic world of Jewish and Arabic opposition that Tsemel has sought to expose all along. Advocate is not just a celebration but a continuation of the work shes dedicated herself to. Nick Rocco Scalia, Film Threat "Engrossing. Provocative. makes for potent viewing as a portrait of a steadfast activist with a controversial cause. Ben Kenigsberg, The New York Times. intimate, powerful. Kenneth Turan, Los Angeles Times "This imposing documentary is remarkable for providing us with another point of view and a spotlight on human rights to this part of the world. The ongoing works of the courageous and passionate Lea Tsemel are inspired. She gives a voice to those who do not have one. Pop Culture Reviews "“Advocate, ” is a tensely intelligent portrait of an Israeli woman who has devoted her life and career to defending the most unpopular and disadvantaged legal clients in Israel, Palestinians and Israeli Arabs who have chosen to push back against the 52-year-long occupation, often violently. George Robinson, The New York Jewish Week "A stunning film that is highly recommended. Steve Kopian, Unseen Films "As a biography that portrays Tsemel as a flawed but admirable anti-establishment hero, this documentary succeeds on all counts. Carla Hay, Culture Mix "Advocate expresses a truly universal truth for progressive movements: While active struggle requires significant sacrifice and even personal danger, it is in service of a greater, kinder future for all people, both intimate and unknown. Cassie Da Costa, The Daily Beast "As both a portrait of an exceptional character and something of a legal procedural, “Advocate” is a fascinating watch. Naomi Fry, The New Yorker.

Kanoon to ek hi h, fir in logo ne aisi kaun si padhai kerli jo itni fees lete h. A reminder that the Duggars are already criminals The past few days were a rollercoaster of emotions for most of us. Desperately hitting refresh refresh on our computers and checking news updates and Reddit posts at stoplights. Wasting work time and hitting pause on the Chiefs Monday Night football game just to check updates on reality stars most of us dont even care for anymore. It brings about the question of why? Why do we care so much? I think I know the answer- deep down we all want to defend those who cant defend themselves. Some Redditors jumped to the Duggars defense, saying no crime has been committed yet. But I disagree. The Duggars are already criminals. In 2002, Josh Duggar, then 15 at the time, snuck into his sisters rooms and sexually molested an eight year old girl. Is this a crime? Yes. 100. Was this reported? No. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar both knew about this crime and did not report it, by their own admission. Is this a crime? Yes. They both allowed Josh to continue living in their home and then a five year old girl was sexually molested. More crimes? Of course. Allowing abuse of a minor to continue is punishable by 6 years in prison. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar committed crimes, as did Josh. No one is questioning that, but seemingly, everyone has forgotten. If you commit a crime and the statute of limitations runs out, did you still commit a crime? Yes. Are you still a criminal? Yes, absolutely. The Duggars are criminals. Not by my admission, by their own. So many fundamentalists deny what I am saying. They desperately want a hero. The Duggars or Kirk Cameron or Donald Trump or Ken Ham or whoever, they want someone to validate their beliefs. Their beliefs that the Bible can be used against people who arent just like them and that men are patriarchs and women are subverted and children dont have a voice. But their beliefs are cruel. Where did their beliefs come from? Brainwashing has to start somewhere right? The Duggars brainwashing started with the Institute for Basic Life Principles started by the Gothard brothers, both of whom sexually assaulted women, but guess how they got off? You guessed it, statute of limitations. This is a direct quote from BLPI curriculum, the very curriculum used at the Duggars homeschool, aka, Our Lady of the Kitchen Table. “Did you do anything that might have caused the abuse. How fuckin terrible is that to ask an 8 year old girl that has just been sexually abused? Source: gawker. com/the-creepy-fundamentalist-homeschool-cult-that-trained-1706969994 Their brainwashing started early. It was fortuitous that the Duggars had the manual for deflecting pedophilia from the Gothards because it came in handy to blame the victims (the young girls who had to grow up in the Duggar house knowing a pedophile shared a hallway with them. Just imagine that for a second. Imagine the most traumatic event in your life- you being sexually molested by your brother, was never addressed, or when it was, it was “no big deal. ” And maybe it was your fault for wearing a denim shirt that was too short because you are the 5th one on the hand me down list. This is abusive to a young girl, to grow up like that, in that prison. Thats why we all wanted something to happen this weekend. The Duggars are already criminals. They got off on a technicality, on the statute of limitations, just like they learned from Bill Gothard. We don't want to see that. We want to be a voice for the voiceless. We all want to stand up for the powerless. I was not sexually abused myself but it was close. As a boy my parents let me go to a fucked up religious group called Young Life, where our group leader Dave ( Not actual name) was allowed to take four or five of us boys off on his own and do whatever he wanted. Were these leaders vetted? Did anyone run background checks on them? No. Dave was a pedophile, its just that none of us knew it. He was a criminal just like Jim Bob and Michelle and Josh. Did anyone question if Dave should be taking four boys camping? No. Dave was creating opportunity. He took me to Sonic by himself, played Radioheads Creep, and told me he was taking me to his house, just the two of us. I am so glad I had a voice. I said no. When Dave went to jail later we all talked about how he tried to get all of us alone. Some didnt have a voice like I did. Some were abused. I think about that all the time. No one protected those kids. Michelle Duggar has been lauded for her accomplishments, she was even crowned Mom of the Year at a Film Festival in Texas by a man named Doug Phillips. This one hits close to home for me, and maybe I am biased. But like Socrates said, we are all biased. Whos bias do you seek. The homeschooling movement ripped my life apart. Much like a victim of domestic violence marries an abuser because thats what they know, thats what is comfortable, I married a fundamentalist after growing up in fundamentalism. The beginning was fun- concerts and bars and casinos but then after we had kids she started checking out homeschooling. The homeschooling conferences killed us. They were not about schooling, they were a contest on who can be the most religious. We dont use any version but the King James version. We dont watch any movie that doesnt have Kirk Cameron in it. We dont allow “secular music” in our house. My wife took a hard right turn- blaring Fox News and talking about how much she hated gay people and showing DVDs by Michael and Debbi Pearl (Who advocate beating your kids with a pipe btw) and Ken Ham. One time I noticed she was teaching the kids that dinosaurs lived with humans and I said thats not true kids, not of it is true. She cried for days about how we were “unequally yoked. ” Im not blaming the downfall of my marriage on homeschooling, it probably would have failed anyway. I dont hate gay people at all. In fact I love them. And black people and muslims and God damnit if we are talking about a world where you cant come home and listen to some Justin Timberlake thats not a world I want to live in anyway. It was at one of those very conferences that Doug Phillips was speaking that my wife maxed out our card on patriarch CDs and DVDs, at least 300 worth of material from him on being “The Man God wants You to Be. ” My wife said at that time something that was very hurtful, she said, “I wish you were more like him. ” Wives dont say that to your husbands, ever, even if it is Patrick Fucking Mahomes, we dont want to hear that. I think its also important to point out that while this was happening Doug Phillips, the very Doug Phillips that Michelle drove to Texas to be honored by as Mom of the Year that Doug Phillips had a 15 year old nanny named Lourdes that he was raping. He said it was consensual but lets be honest, a 37 year old and a 15 year old? That is rape. Fundamentalism has a culture of rape, a culture of victim shaming, a culture of pedophilia. This week in churches where I grew up, in Missouri, at least two young kids will get raped by someone at church for the first time. And that is just the ones that report it. Thats just the averages. There are victims in homes too and especially with homeschooling. The victims are told, maybe it is you. I hope you enjoy living in this house with a child molestor, maybe it was your fault, put on a longer denim skirt. That is happening all over America. Think about how many people the Duggars have influenced with their fake façade reality show. So what happened at the Duggar's Cult Compound with the Department of Homeland Security on Monday? We dont know. There is conjecture but we dont know what happened. But something did happen, something big enough for dozens of federal vehicles to be parked at the cult compound. People are saying dont rush to judgment, let due process play out. Thats bullshit. Jim Bob and Michelle hid their crimes so long the bullshit statute of limitations expired and they were not arrested for allowing the sexual molestation of minors to continue. And dont even get me started on the friend they talked to in the police department who is, coincidentally serving 56 years in prison for child porn. Does no one see the pattern here? Am I the only one who notices the Duggars are inundated with sexual abuse? What are Jim Bob and Michelle hiding this time? More molesting? Child porn? Trafficking minors? Why is a young girl living in the house of Josh and Anna that is not their kid? Its a culture of hiding the truth and a culture of enabling. Why do we all care? Deep down inside we want to have a voice for the voiceless. Who will speak up for the 34 young women that Bill Gothard sexually abused? Who will speak up for the Lourdes of the world that just wanted to be a nanny but got raped by a religious patriarch? Who will speak up for the lost daughters of the Duggars, the ones who have no voice, the ones who never got to grieve for their lost innocence. Who will speak up for my friends, the ones that couldnt say no to the Young Life leader, the ones that lost their childhood? An 8 year old girl was sexually abused in the Duggar house and they did nothing. And then a 5 year old, a tiny little girl who was so innocent it almost makes me cry, she was molested because they did nothing. Will no one stand up for her? Should we all sit around and wait for Michelle and Jim Bob and Josh to play charades and pretend everything is fine again so the statute of limitations can run out and due process can be served? Fuck that shit, they are already criminals.

Advocate Directed by Rachel Leah Jones Philippe Bellaïche Starring Lea Tsemel Release date 27 January 2019 (USA) 23 May 2019 (Israel) Running time 108 min Country Israel Language Hebrew Arabic Box office 16, 392 [1] Advocate is a 2019 Israeli documentary film, directed by Rachel Leah Jones and Philippe Bellaïche. The film premiered at the 2019 Sundance Festival, and went on to win top prizes at Thessaloniki Documentary Festival, Kraków Film Festival, Hong Kong International Film Festival and Docaviv Festival. Synopsis [ edit] The film follows Jewish-Israeli human-rights lawyer Lea Tsemel as she navigates through the Israeli judicial system in defense of Palestinian political prisoners. The film includes archival footage of past cases Tsemel was involved in over a five-decade long career; interviews with Tsemel and her family members, including her husband, Michel Warschawski and their daughter and son, as well as interns and associates at Tsemel's law firm; and closely follows two contemporary cases represented by Tsemel and her co-counsel, Tareq Barghout. The first case the film follows is that of 13 year old Ahmad, who together with his 15 year old cousin, Hassan, took to the street with knives. The episode led to the non-fatal stabbing of an Israeli teenager by Hassan, who was then killed by security forces. Though no evidence is presented that Ahmad participated in the stabbing, or planned to use his decorative knife to harm anyone, he is convicted on two counts of attempted murder. The second case is that of Israa Jaabis, who is charged with attempted murder for an act that is interpreted by Israeli officials as a suicide bombing gone wrong. Jaabis had set fire to her car, into which she had placed two butane tanks. She was severely injured, and a policeman was lightly injured. In this case as well, no intent was proven on her part, and Jaabis had a history of suicide attempts, and yet she was easily convicted. Tsemel explains her commitment to representing Palestinian defendants, whether or not they committed the acts they are accused of, as her responsibility as a member and beneficiary of the conquering power, under which the Palestinians must live, and against which they are justified in struggling for their liberation. She says, Israelis have no right to tell Palestinians how to struggle. When the television interviewer says she cannot understand this attitude, she answers, You should try to understand me because I am the future. ” She calls herself "an angry optimistic woman" and while she is seen by some as a hero and role model, she is seen by others as a traitor, and has long been the recipient of death threats and vilification, including various epithets by which she is known, including "devil's advocate. The film incorporates animation in several parts, to protect the identity of various persons. [2] Production [ edit] Advocate was produced by the Israeli Home Made Docs, 3] by the Candian outfit Productions Megafun, and by Swiss groups Close Up Films, 4] RTS Radio Télévision Suisse and SRG SSR. [5] Release [ edit] Advocate 's world premiere took place at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival, where it was a nominee for the World Cinema Documentary Competition award. It premiered in Israel at the Docaviv festival on 23 May 2019, where it won the top award. The film opened the 2019 Human Rights Watch Film Festival, and plucked top prizes at the Kraków Film Festival, 6] Hong Kong, 7] Docaviv [8] and Thessaloniki [9] festivals. Advocate 's Israeli theater premier took place on September 5, 2019, when it opened at theaters nationwide. [10] The film opened in theaters in the United States on January 3, 2020, and ranked second in the list of in-year releases highest grossing films for that week. [11] Critical reception [ edit] The film was enthusiastically received by film critics and audiences alike. On Rotten Tomatoes, the film has a score of 100% based on seven reviews, including The Hollywood Reporter and Sight & Sound. [12] In her Modern Times review, Bianca-Olivia Nita calls Advocate "infuriating" as well as "inspirational and full of heart. She concludes: It ends in hope that, as long as there are people still living with compassion, there is still a chance for resolution, even if that resolution is – for now – nowhere in sight. It captures the humanity and pain that lays behind aggression and labels, building an insightful picture of a flawed judicial system. One that brings no justice and more pain for those living in what seems a hopeless conflict in a part of the world we choose" to see as very far away. 13] The British Film Institute review calls the film "gripping" and terms it "by turns inspiring and despairing, settling as a deeply bittersweet portrait of a magnetic individual. 14] Georgia Del Don, reviewing Advocate for Cineuropa, warns viewers that " the devils advocate' as shes called by many of her Israeli colleagues, has none of the charisma or the motherly devotion of a Mother Teresa character, for example. In fact, it is around the nature of her charisma, which is impossible to label or pin down, that Rachel Leah Jones and Philippe Bellaïche construct their film, a portrayal of a strong female figure who defies each and every convention. Courageous, fun, seductive and unconventional to the say the least, Lea Tsemel embodies an ideal which goes beyond gender and which men and women can both aspire to. 15] Hollywood Reporter critic Keith Uhlich points out that what would seemingly be a disadvantage to the film – the prohibition of cameras in the courtrooms – actually works to the film's dramatic advantage, heightening the drama of the defendants, attorneys, friends and family nervously waiting in corridors. He adds, Watching these two trials through to their end lends additional credence to Tsemel's perspective that the Israeli legal system is rigged against Palestinians from the get-go, regardless of their guilt or innocence. How can justice prevail when autocratic impulses so consistently pervert democratic ideals. 16] Israeli critic, Erez Dvorah, writes that it is the very controversial nature of Lea Tsemel and her work that makes Advocate required viewing for people from all quadrants of the political map, calling the existence of such a film "essential to the democracy of Israel, in an era where the media is more and more controlled by political agendas. A society in which there is a categorical rejection of this type of film is a society taking a significant step farther away from what is commonly called 'democracy. 17] Following its being short-listed for an Academy Award, 18] a review of Advocate was published in Variety. [19] Reviewer Guy Lodge calls Advocate "a sober, engrossing documentary. A gripping procedural that intelligently expands into more searching questions over the Israel-Palestine divide and one womans precarious, often unpopular role as what some may call a mediator and others, well, a devils advocate. 19] Quoting Tsemel, who calls herself "a very angry, optimistic woman" Lodge notes that this is not a contradiction in terms, but rather: it does highlight two traits that are rarely twinned, particularly to positive effect. 19] He concludes. Advocate isnt a bland hagiography, but a textured nonfiction character study of complicated heroism. You cant challenge the system, after all, without being a bit challenging yourself. 19] Political fallout [ edit] Upon winning the top award in the Israeli Docaviv film festival, Israel's Culture Minister Miri Regev attacked the film and “the choice to make a movie focusing on a lawyer who represents, supports and speaks in the name of many who undermine the State of Israels existence, use terrorism against its soldiers and people, and win legal and public support from Tsemel. ” [20] Right-wing activists and organizations, including Im Tirtzu, picketed Mifal HaPayis, Israel's national lottery company and the sponsor of Docaviv's main prize, which shortly after announced it would pull funding for future Docaviv festival awards due to pressure from right-wing activists. [21] 22] The decision caused a media uproar, 23] 24] 25] and in response, hundreds of Israeli filmmakers, as well as academics and public figures signed an open letter in support of the film. [26] The Cultural Institutions Forum and multiple creative and artists associations mounted a protest before the organization's offices. [27] 28] Two Sapir Award (also sponsored by Mifal HaPayis) judges resigned in protest, 29] while three writers (Naomi Levitsky, Leah Inni and Orit Wolfiler) withdrew their nominations for this award, and dozens of other writers announced that should they ever win this award, they would give some of the money to the filmmakers. [30] Following the public outrage and many disruptions, 31] Mifal Hapayis announced in July that it would honor the commitment to fund the award, by providing the award monies to Docaviv instead of the filmmakers themselves. [32] On November 6, 2019, the mayor of Ma'alot-Tarshiha, a municipality in northern Israel formed by a merger of a Jewish and an Arab town, cancelled the screening of Advocate that was scheduled for November 9, as part of the Docaviv Galilee Film Festival. [33] The cancellation followed a petition by right-wing residents of Ma'alot, and a letter to Mayor Arkady Pomeranets from Culture and Sports Minister Miri Regev, urging him to forbid the showing of the film as "something that should never occur on a stage that is supported by the State of Israel" and acknowledging that she lacks the legal authority to do so herself. [34] Pomeranets accommodated Regev's request, though he himself had not seen the film, citing potential sensitivity of Ma'alot residents to the film's subject, due to the town having been the target of a terror attack in 1974. [34] Docaviv responded that "The festival protests the arbitrary and unilateral decision on the part of the mayor to interfere in the content of the festival and to censor the grand-prize winning film of the Tel Aviv festival. We will not give a hand to censoring and silencing cultural and artistic works or to political maneuvers designed to do damage to the discourse that reflects the reality in Israel in all its different forms. 35] The Association for Civil Rights in Israel asked the deputy attorney general to instruct Regev that she acted illegally "and misled the mayor into believing that he is authorized to attack freedom of expression. The attorney general's office, on November 8, issued an opinion that "No basis was introduced that establishes such exceptional or extreme circumstances that would allow for freedom of expression to be violated by cancelling the screening. The message projected by the leadership, that activities of cultural institutions and artists are constantly under the watchful eye of government authorities and subject to supervision and monitoring in order to adapt their content to government tastes – harms the foundation of freedom of expression. 36] An alternative screening was quickly arranged in nearby kibbutz Kabri by Docaviv, and a protest screening was also arranged outside of the Ma'alot-Tarshiha cultural center by the Israel Democratic Forum and the Filmmakers Union. [37] At the cultural center screening, about 150 anti-censorship activists protested, while about 200 right-wing counter-demonstrators spat at them, threatened the festival's director and flung incendiary devices. [38] 39] The police intervened and moved the right-wing demonstrators back, though two attending filmmakers, Yael Kipper and Ronen Zaretzky, were nevertheless attacked while leaving the event. [38] Ultimately, the police asked the organizers to end the screening to avoid further violence, and the organizers complied. [40] At Kabri, a right-wing demonstration was organized by activist Tsachi Eliyahu, who disrupted the screening, stormed the stage with his hands painted red, and proceeded to denounce the screening and the film. [38] Liran Atzmor, of the Filmmakers Union, said: We have come to demonstrate, the creators' unions and the citizens of the north, who are deeply disturbed by the illegal act of the mayor of Maalot Tarshiha. This is silencing and censorship. The mayor axed it, but in spite of the attorney general informing him that his axe is illegal, he nevertheless did not allow this screening, so we came here with a big screen and a loudspeaker so that the people of the North can see the film and decide for themselves. It is a very slippery slope, if we do not oppose this now, every mayor will then decide [what content can be screened] and the artistic field will completely lose its power and autonomy. 39] Awards [ edit] Advocate is currently short-listed for the Academy Awards [18] and European Film Awards. Ladies and gentlemen, may I present the car this pistol will be paying for... Advocater. Yes ఈడు టీడీపీ బ్రోకర్. Jvvnl penal advocates. What is a advocate. Advocate for mentally disabled. MOVIES 12:16 PM PDT 5/24/2019 by Courtesy of Film 'Advocate' This documentary portrait of Israeli human rights lawyer Lea Tsemel gets absorbingly up close and personal. When we first see Israeli lawyer Lea Tsemel in Rachel Leah Jones and Philippe Bellaïche's compelling documentary Advocate (which world-premiered at Sundance and recently played the Canadian International nonfiction festival Hot Docs) she's in motion, striding through the hallways of a Jerusalem court. The frame is bisected, live-action footage on the left, rotoscoped animated imagery on the right. This stylistic tic, which recurs now and again, is Jones and Bellaïche's way of protecting the identities of Tsemel's clients, almost all of whom are Palestinians accused of extremist crimes. This has been Tsemel's life for decades, working on behalf of people viewed by many in her orbit as inferiors and fanatics. Advocate, though, isn't interested in litigating the apparently limitless divisions between Israel and Palestine so much as it is in portraying Tsemel's tireless routine, in the process demonstrating how one person lives morally and ethically within a morass. There are flashbacks to Tsemel's past, detailing her budding student activism, her fraught attempts to raise her family with her husband (the anti-Zionist demonstrator Michel Warschawski) and her fervent efforts leading to a landmark 1999 Israeli Supreme Court decision that outlawed the use of torture when interrogating detainees. Much of Advocate, however, is concerned with two cases currently on Tsemel's docket: a Palestinian woman accused of plotting a suicide bombing, and a Palestinian teenager (a boy of merely 13) who accompanied his older brother on a stabbing spree. The boy's crime is especially high-profile given the blustery verbal shellacking he received at a news conference by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Jones and Bellaïche would seem to be at a disadvantage because their cameras were not allowed in the courtrooms for these trials. But the denial of what, in most movies, would be the dramatic crux works to the film's advantage. We mainly watch Tsemel and her clients as they either ready for or react to their days in court. Tsemel seems fully aware of the likeliest outcome, and she frequently assumes a position of preemptive consoler, though in the most steely of ways. (She knows very well how to play to both her clients and the camera. Not that any of this prevents the defendants or their families from acting out when verdicts don't go their way, as in the case of one of the accused suicide bomber's relatives, who rails, very upsettingly, outside the gates of the courthouse as if cursing the gods. Watching these two trials through to their end lends additional credence to Tsemel's perspective that the Israeli legal system is rigged against Palestinians from the get-go, regardless of their guilt or innocence. How can justice prevail when autocratic impulses so consistently pervert democratic ideals? At one point, Tsemel describes herself as a member of an occupying force and defines her mission in life as to somehow rectify the resultant power imbalance. The only way to get there, as the film's pointed final image suggests, is to keep on trudging. Filmcollectie_01 Film docsforsale_01 Docs for Sale Artboard Copy 2 Created with Sketch. Share Now almost 75, Lea Tsemel has spent her entire professional life as a human rights lawyer in Israel, mostly defending Palestinians who have resisted occupation both violently and non-violently. The name her opponents gave her reflects the controversial nature of her work: they call her The Devils Advocate. The film follows this passionately committed lawyer over the course of two cases, one concerning a 13-year-old boy involved in a stabbing, and the other a woman who committed a failed suicide attack. We see Tsemel in conversation with the defendants, her team of lawyers and the press, with the filmmakers making clever and effective use of animation in scenes that require anonymity. There are also interviews with her husband, children and colleagues, all of whom testify to her courage, tenacity and unwavering moral sense. The film also looks back at a number of high-profile cases from her legal career, all of which—with just a single hopeful exception—were stymied by a discriminatory judicial system. Tsemels hope for changes in the system and her keen eye for the human behind every case are what keep her going. Kindly mughy advocate nyma anwar ka nmbr ya koi or address bta sakty hain mainy aik case larna hi plz. AHHH. The moment we've all been waiting for. Also will be posting this in r/auntienetwork. this could potentially also be messy. First of all I want to explain how amazingly helpful you all were. all of your replies made me feel so accepted and loved and I can't explain how special that was to me. The first day after I posted was great. My confidence shot back up and I was happy feeling not pregnant. The days following were hell. I cried constantly. I was so incredibly stressed. I'm not doing good in school and midterms are coming up and it's my last chance to bring my grade up for this semester. I stayed in bed a lot. My boyfriend and I argued almost every night and I don't even really remember what it was about, but it always started with me crying uncontrollably and ended with a lot of apologies. I felt alone. I reread all of your comments dozens of times. I never did take another pregnancy test. I wanted to for peace of mind but I had no way to get one without my mom knowing, and while she would've been supportive, I wanted privacy and I knew she'd be expecting results if she knew. Plus I didn't want her to think I was worried about it. We talk to each other about our cycles and bodies and whatnot so she knew I was late. Two days ago my breasts started getting really tender and swollen. This happens near my period but I was scared all the same. It was hard to sleep at night. i went to the bathroom and checked constantly waiting for my period to show up. I was running out of time because today is my appointment with the gyno to get an ultrasound to measure my uterus for an IUD, and I knew that if I was pregnant, I'd probably be far along enough to see, and I wasnt prepared to do that. Last night, I cried in the shower for 20 minutes, and thought really long about what I was gonna do if I was pregnant. I got out of the shower and did some research on DIY abortions (which I'm not very happy with myself about but I was really really shaken up and I didn't even tell my boyfriend because I didn't want anyone to know. Fast forward to this morning. I woke up early to get ready (my siblings also had appointments today so I was going with since mine was after. I was anxious all morning and I was trying to prepare myself for being pregnant and there was no way I could hide it since I would literally be face to face with it, as well would my mother. I thought my boyfriend wouldnt be able to come to this appointment because we were running late and had to pick him up so it was a whole thing and I was even more anxious because I really needed him there especially at this one, but everything worked out and he could come. we were walking out the door when I felt it. I went to the bathroom and there it was. just in the freaking nick of time my period showed up and I was overjoyed. I texted my boyfriend immediately and I was so so so happy. and I'm now on my way to my appointment (feeling v bloated & crampy and I'm pretty sure I'm getting a UTI but its fine) and I'm happier than I've been the last week. I want to thank you all again. I am absolutely amazed by all of you guys. You all were so kind to me and I don't think I'll ever forget it. By this time next month I'll hopefully have an IUD in and not be worried by this crap. As a parting gift, here's a picture I made in art class because when I get passionate about things I like to make it really known. sorry if its crappy but I'm probably gonna redo it at a later date Sum feminist shit lol.

2019 still here. Who else. Advocatenatan. First off, stay away from Legion. It's a crummy film that riffs on The Prophecy without doing a single interesting thing of its own. Jacob's Ladder is a sort of fever dream with a lot of angel/demon/bible imagery - it's "horror. but also something else. I feel like it owes more to Lynch and Bunuel. The Rapture is a very intense film about what the Christian end-times could plausibly look like. You don't see anything too fantastical, but I guarantee that it's suspenseful and creepy and surprisingly edgy. This Is the End is a funny comedy that's a very basic reworking of Christian eschatology. Haxan: Witchcraft Through the Ages is a sweet silent documentary about witchcraft and the Devil that has some insane visuals for its day. Heaven Can Wait is a cute-if-predictable story about an angel who comes to Earth, similar to the religiously-lite It's a Wonderful Life. It's not about demons, but A Matter of Life and Death explores the idea of a universal Heaven complete with giant escalators, Greco-Roman statues, and true love. On that note, a weird choice, but Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey has one of the most effective visions of Hell and the Devil I've ever seen.

I'd like to take a moment to explain why today's chapter art is behind a paywall. As some of you may know Akella, the creative owner of the CD universe, has taken his first steps on a quest to become a full time artist. Patreon is the vehicle he's chosen to support himself, and that's where you can get real time access to the art he's creating for Coronation Day, HEL Jumper, and other stories. For those of you who prefer not to partake, I will post his art on subsequent chapters once it goes public. I understand this is likely disappointing for many of you, but I hope you'll consider supporting this young man who has given us a compelling world and great art over the last many months. As an apology, please accept the longest chapter yet. Keiko rose softly from her slumber into the waking world thanks to the natural mimicry of the shrine. The sunrise and bird calls were soothing to her resting senses. She was facing the ceiling and both of her hands were free of Seth's hold. The mercenary was found on his side as she turned his way, his back towards her. It was an unprecedented moment of vulnerability on his part. "My first night with a man. Keiko whispered with a hint of self reproach, unafraid of the slightly warm feeling developing in her chest as she watched his resting body. "And much to my distress you're still fully clothed. came Seth's sleep shrouded voice. She growled at him. "Do you ever stop. On occasion, my lady. he replied, rolling over to face her and removing the comforter from his body. She was surprised to see him looking at her seriously. "Are you well? Were there nightmares. I. there may have been. I don't recall. she replied after a moment of contemplation. She was looking at his stubble. "I'm fine, Seth. My lady is sure. I am. You have morning breath. she informed him with a cute smile. Seth breathed out through his nose, pushing himself upright and inclining his head in apology. "I apologise for assaulting you with my commoners' breath. he joked, back to his usual self now that he'd confirmed Keiko was past the worst of the immediate aftermath. Her eyes followed him while drinking in his form, clad in a basic pair of boxer briefs and an undershirt. "You've already done far worse, mercenary. You held my hand. Keiko accused, narrowing her eyes playfully. "I would do so again in a heartbeat, especially if you prove capable of such exquisite murder. Now don't give me that look, my lady. Your visage was much more appealing when you were taking your time with the. male form. Seth threw her a final smirk before retreating to the shower, leaving Keiko gaping after him. "That human is just- her inevitable disparagement was halted as a small indicator appeared on her lens. She had a message. from Seth's program. Opening it, she saw that the missive was intended for Seth, though she'd received a copy thanks to how she'd acquired the application. Unable and unwilling to respect Seth's privacy, she opened it immediately. Seth, Alex was great as always. That cat really knows how to work a girl's ass. I almost passed out when he came. Speaking of ass, that piece of ass that was sitting in your lap seems to have the golden touch. or the golden gun. Too sensitive to discuss over the net. I'm coming over now. I know it's late but don't eat breakfast. Kisses. -Sybela Upon his return, Seth found Keiko sitting upright in shock, the telltale look of someone staring at their lens on her face. He checked his quickly as a look of exasperation came over him. "Ah, I see. You have my sincerest apologies, Lady Keiko. As you can tell Sybela doesn't turn it off. ever. he lamented. "Does she always inform you of her escapades. Keiko asked, sneaking a final glance as Seth threw on his pants. He didn't turn back to her. "Ever since I failed to satisfy her. It's something of a game to her at this point, I believe. he replied roughly. Keiko's ears wilted. He turned back and their eyes met. Anger bubbled in his chest. "Spare me your pity, my lady. I'm the last of a proud race, or so you say. Though I should have expected such discussions would only intrigue you. What is it? Snuck into the harem a few times too many. Keiko glared right back. "And saw things you'd never believe, mercenary. but I'm sorry. Whatever happened to Sybela that's not fair to you. And that is the absolute last thing I need, the princess of Alhamkara inserting herself into team dynamics. he insisted hotly, only to have her snap right back at him. "Fine, I get it! Just keep on killing people and wilting like a flower every time that size queen of a rabbit gets reamed! What kind of human are you? How am I supposed to help you kill those bastards if you shut me down over something as stupid as what I assume is a one night stand? Agh, why do I even care about you and her. Keiko shouted, more at herself than at him. Seth watched her intently as she stood to take her turn in the bathroom, his eyes wide with surprise. "It seems Alhamkara's pride and joy, on the other hand, is no wilting flower. he remarked once he was alone. Behind the wall Keiko had her head in her hands, groaning in embarrassment. "What am I doing. She wondered, not quite willing to admit that even her verbal sparring matches with Seth were getting her heart beating. That didn't change the fact that the rabbit in question was coming for breakfast. "Guess I'd better get ready for that woman. Keiko took time to recenter herself, washing her face and ensuring that her fur hadn't matted during the night. When she was satisfied with her appearance she pulled her nightgown over her head, turning her naked body slowly in front of the mirror and slightly adjusting her various piercings. "I wonder if Seth has a camera in here. she murmured, feeling her hips cock and her chest push outward at the thought of intimidating him yet again with her bare body. She delighted in the momentary fantasy of a lady of the harem, the eyes of powerful and famous men enraptured by her form. It was hard to believe that for all his competence Seth might be a disappointment in the bedroom, but after reflecting on the last couple of days Keiko admitted it was a possibility. Everyone had something to hide. "Ugh, look at me. So eager to be away from that stuffy palace that I'm contemplating the love life of that wolf. Pull yourself together, Keiko. This is all about the mnyama. After quickly cleaning her teeth Keiko smiled for the mirror, happy to find that Seth had splurged a bit and purchased a model that had low intensity UV tech installed. She knew she was being a tad vain, but even in front of a mercenary like Seth she wanted to ensure her breath was fresh and her teeth were presentable. After all, unlike his they featured quite prominently in her mouth. That and she absolutely intended to give no ground to that bunny. Talented as she undoubtedly was, she'd done nothing but doubt Seth and her. The human, on the other hand, had shown her trust and an extraordinary amount of openness given the situation. Despite his anger he'd stayed with her the night before and helped her execute her impromptu plan to rescue Savannah and get Octavia a message. For that morning, at least, Keiko knew whose side she was on. After dressing herself, taking another calming breath, and standing straight, she turned and headed for the main room. She was surprised to find Seth standing there, waiting for her with a conservative posture. "I owe you an apology, my lady. he said, meeting her eyes bravely. "Seth. I allowed a bad personal memory to cloud my judgment. Integrating you into my team is exactly what I desire, and something I hope you will accept. Sybela might be hardest and I wish you could meet Talon or Argos first, but they…" We'll explain together when the time comes. And for what it's worth, Seth, I'm sorry too. Keiko replied, unwilling to remain mad after his sincere apology. "My lady? You've done nothing wrong. he insisted. Keiko worried her hands together and adopted a modest tone. Something had been bothering her since the night before, other than murder. "I called you a human fetishist when you first took me here. That couldn't be further from the truth. I don't understand your relationship to your own people or what's left of them, but this shrine is delightful now that I've had the time to appreciate it a bit. And after seeing what Savannah did to herself. I know where the real evil lies when it comes to exploiting the image of the human divine. she finished on a hard note. Seth nodded. "I maintain you owe me less than nothing, Lady Keiko, but I humbly accept your apology. Shall we have tea while we await breakfast. He suggested. She smiled. "That sounds nice, actually. Would you like some help. Her question seemed to catch Seth off guard, but he nodded with a slight smirk. "I could use some company while watching the water boil; dreadfully boring that is. When Sybela opened the door to the shrine, bag full of breakfast swaying from her paw, she found the two of them sitting cross legged and blissfully sipping green tea at Seth's small table. They looked like a couple. Her mouth felt dry. "Should I come back later. She asked sarcastically, prompting Seth to turn to face her. The wild dog with the wild eyes was already staring her down. "What the fuck happened to your face, Seth. I happened to his face, something he very much deserved in the moment. And after last night I think you've done plenty of running away. and 'cumming. Seth and I could use some breakfast. Sit down already. Keiko fired the first shot, watching as Sybela's large ears, one of which featured two red glowing hoops, twitched indignantly. Eventually the rabbit smiled. The look on the princess' face told her she knew it was forced. "I got your message, Sybela. I'm glad that jaguar didn't turn you inside out. Seemed a nice enough fellow I suppose. The albino rabbit's pale ears developed a distinctive flush as she sat down at the head of the table, presenting her peace offering to Seth. "Should have known better than trying to verbally spar with the princess of Alhamkara. And I guess we'll just ignore the fact that she's reading your mail, monkey. You hungry. She asked, withdrawing all manner of containers from the bag. "Oh American! It's been so long. Keiko exclaimed, laying eyes on scrambled eggs, toast, sausage, bacon, and pancakes with small containers of artificial syrup. "Seth, what's she talking about. Sybela asked in confusion, glancing at the human. "You should do your homework, Sybela. It's the country and people that apparently pioneered the concept of a hearty breakfast. While not particularly complex, the cuisine seems to have eventually gained popularity among even the culture of those who developed this planet, if only as a curiosity. Thanks, by the way. Don't mention it. Sybela replied, leaving discussion of the finer points of humanity to the human himself and the seemingly knowledgeable princess. All that mattered to Sybela was the fact that he'd saved her ass that one night. "I uh…should probably apologize. Oh? You, apologize? Do tell. Seth requested eagerly, a glance at Keiko confirming that apologizing was not something the lagomorph did often. "Cram it, you furless oddball. Princess, how'd you know that girl was wrapped up with the Oro's genetic experiments. Sybela asked curiously. Keiko's ears stood on end, a bit of pancake hanging from her fork inches from her mouth. "I'm sorry, what. That woman, the one you 'saved' last night. The cheetah girl. How'd you know. Sybela tried again. "What was I supposed to know. Keiko queried earnestly with a tilt of the head, causing the jackrabbit to throw her head back in exasperation. "Seriously? Seth, she's luckier than my foot, maybe both feet. Sybela exclaimed. The mercenary finally spoke, having dug right into the meal. He'd already devoured a sausage and a couple of eggs. He pointed his fork at her. "Stop with your roundabout nonsense and tell us, Sybela. You know you're here to synthesize all the crazy shit out there on the net, not make riddles about it. Ooh, grown some balls now that the princess has shared your bed. Sybela teased. Seth was about to turn away but Keiko's foot touched his leg under the table, she smiled at him. "He's surprisingly proven to be quite the gentleman, with a gentle touch. I also didn't see you killing any mnyama scum last night, Sybela. Not my job. the rabbit deflected. "Then stop beating around the bush and do yours. Keiko snapped, brandishing another plastic fork full of eggs at her. "I won't presume to know what happened between you and Seth, but right now I care much more about breakfast and whatever is going on with the Oro than your inability to be satisfied by anything other than an oversized, barbed cock knocking your organs about. Don't you have servants or something to tell you not to speak like a commoner. Sybela barely managed to reply. Keiko pressed on for the kill. "I find it liberating. Not to mention the victory of having my counterpart change the subject. Don't presume to know what being a princess of Alhamkara really means, Sybela. she finished, taking a large bite of sausage and throwing the rabbit a wink. Her stomach was positively buzzing with excitement and embarrassment at engaging in such lewd banter. Sybela shook her head in resignation. "Fine, I concede. Let's just eat, yeah? I'll fill you all in fully after we're done. Seth. we may need to bring Talon and Argos up to speed. I think Octavia is going to move on this one. Sybela warned, spreading jam on toast and taking a bite. Seth nodded but said nothing, clearly thinking through scenarios behind his distracted eyes. Keiko's mind wandered as well, worried for the Sekhama if they went hot into hostile territory. So based on the logs from Talon, that girl made it to the palace with her kids just around midnight. He spotted Octavia about five minutes later and ended the mission. Now watch this. Sybela instructed, directing their attention to a holographic projector that she'd paired to the various electronic devices embedded in her skin. After a couple of touches against the slim panel in her left wrist, a stylized model of the local Alhamkara network appeared. She pointed to a highlighted cluster surrounded by thick barriers. "This here is your home, princess. What I'm showing you now is normal traffic, before that girl made it inside. And yes, the palace is subject to that level of cyber attack on a regular basis. Whatever else you want to say about the Sekhama's net techs, they play damn good defense. See there? Ooh, that was a good one. Anyone on the other side of that hack just got a face full of terminal shrapnel. Sybela. Seth cut in, motioning that she return to the subject at hand. Keiko looked uncertain at the rabbit's description of certain palace countermeasures. "I assure you, my lady, anyone attempting that sort of breach deserves a bit of facial reconstruction. What he said. Sybela agreed, much more friendly with Seth now that they were discussing an operation. "I'm going to roll it forward now. Check this out. As Sybela guided the display they watched as a sudden explosion of traffic emanated from the palace. "Let's overlay the capital, shall we. Sybela sang happily, projecting a three dimensional model of the city atop the network map. "Oh, Talon is going to love this one. Seth mused, seeing that the vast majority of outgoing traffic was terminating in a cluster of buildings in a slum adjacent to the corporate district. The rest of the attacks targeted one of the nearby skyscrapers. "Those lines of sight will be juicy. Juicy. Keiko demanded as Sybela laughed. "Juicy as in if any mnyama are on those rooftops their heads are going to be split open like ripe melons. the rabbit clarified, enjoying the disgusted look on Keiko's face. Nevertheless the princess injected herself into the discussion. "How many people can see this, Sybela? Do the Oro know. She pressed. "Doubtful. The net is highly fragmented; every corporation and mnyama has their own little pocket in addition to the public infrastructure. It took me and Seth. how long would you say. She asked, looking at the human. "Six months at least. he supplied. "Yeah, six months plus to install spikes at enough physical access terminals to assemble this map. Only the Sekhama, the military, and the Wildfire have the kind of resources to maintain full access like this. We had to do it on the cheap and I doubt our spikes will last more than a year or so. Sybela explained. It set Keiko at ease to know the Oro probably didn't know they were being targeted, but the idea of the Wildfire having capabilities on par with the Sekhama was most disconcerting. "Do you know what that traffic is. Keiko asked. Sybela shook her head. "No. If I burrowed in there I'd get a face full of slag too. You ever meet one of their net assassins in person? They're probably more machine than faunum and they can fuck you up six ways to Sunday if you've got any tech they feel like exploiting. and they can get into just about everything. Sybela shuddered as Keiko recalled Idris introducing her to a particular meerkat back when she turned sixteen and began learning about the darker side of the palace's efforts to combat the vile underbelly of the capital. The sheer amount of metal and plastic in his body was the stuff of nightmares. The Commander had explained the authorization for the modifications had taken years. "But I don't think we really need to get inside to know where Octavia is going to strike. Sybela continued. "There's two targets, this Oro base and the Psygenics Ltd offices. My guess is if the raid comes up with any dirt at all you'll see them frog marching those suits out of their glass tower the next day. Oh, I can't wait to watch the vids, maybe see if Alex wants to play…" If the Oro do end up destroyed I think Seth and I might go out for dinner, maybe a movie. Keiko replied easily, loving the shocked looks on the faces of the two mercenaries. "What? I've never gotten to go to a normal theater. I just can't win around her. Sybela lamented, seeing the honest smile on Seth's lips. "Anyway, Seth this traffic died before sunrise. The Sekhama got what they need quickly, probably blueprints, access points, and the like. I've been monitoring the news but there's been no press conferences or royal declarations or anything. I think they're going to risk it. Seth. Keiko implored immediately. He placed a hand comfortingly over hers where it rested on the table. "We will do everything in our power to ensure your captain is successful, my lady. We may not see eye to eye on many things, but we share the same goal. The enemy of my enemy. Keiko whispered. Seth nodded. "How the hell are you going to break this to Argos and Talon, Seth. Sybela asked pointedly. "They may not even agree to this. Fear not, Sybela. I can assure you they will. After breakfast had been consumed and enjoyed, complete with Sybela ribbing Seth about the other tied off takeout bags next to the door, the three of them gathered around Seth's terminal as he pinged both Talon and Argos. The tiger's gruff voice was the first to reply. "I don't like being kept in the dark, Seth. What's going on? We finally getting together. The human gave Keiko an apologetic look. "A couple of complications with the princess, nothing more. We'll hit up the Sakura soon enough, but I have another job. This one I think you'll both be interested in. Another job? Seth, what the hell was last night all about. Talon squawked as he joined the call. "I know you're money good, man, but seeing some slut and her kids to the palace? The fuck is with you. Sybela had to slap a hand over Keiko's mouth as the wild dog made ready to verbally bite Talon's head off. It was Argos who spoke instead. "What happened last night, Seth? This isn't like you. Argos insisted in a worried tone. "We've been working together for months, man. Does Sybela know about this. I know. Seth countered patiently. "The abduction of the princess has presented me. He means us, by the way. Sybela cut in sharply. "How you boys doing. Heya buns! Didn't know you and Seth were back together. Talon called. Keiko thought the sniper seemed almost put out by the news. "We're not back together, you birdbrain! I'm here because Seth is telling the truth. This is a big op, easy job. And the employer. let's just say she's money good too. She. Argos demanded thoughtfully. "Seth, are we working corporate now. Something like that. Seth replied. "Dude this is bullshit. Give us the details or I'm out. Talon insisted. "We're going to aid the Sekhama in killing the entirety of the Oro. Seth snarled. "How's that for details. Seth. what the hell did you get yourself mixed up in? And what about the princess? She's still there with you, right. Argos eventually asked after a long moment of silence on the channel. "She's accepted her place, Argos. Seth replied without remorse. "There won't be any issues during the op. As for the job, let's just say our little heist garnered the attention of an idealistic individual with very deep pockets and a. favorable moral compass. So what, we're going to kill the people that pay us. Talon squawked. "Am I the only one who thinks that's insane? Am I insane, Argos. The tiger gave a disbelieving chuckle. "You are, but that's not the point. We get paid enough we won't have to work for the mnyama anymore. Fuck you man, I thought you were on my side. And you know how I feel about the Sekhama. Argos growled. "Seth, I'm in but no more games, no more secrets. We pull this off and we meet with this employer to take payment, all four of us. Then we go drinking, all four of us. You got it, big guy. Seth agreed, shooting Keiko a satisfied look. "Talon, you in. Yeah yeah, I'll be ready. I'm clearly outnumbered here. When do we move. Before dusk. I'll send you the details. Sybela and I are working them out now, monitoring traffic. Be ready to deploy on a moment's notice. Seth advised. Talon and Argos signaled their affirmation and ended the call, leaving the three of them to plan the next move. "I know my place. Keiko demanded angrily, cuffing Seth on the back of the head. Sybela copied her and gave the princess a wink. "Yes I suppose that's only fair. Seth admitted, swatting at Sybela who jumped out of his reach. "I couldn't tell them over comms. They need to see for themselves. At a minimum there will have to be some apologies on my part. I hope you'll be willing to come with us. On the op. Keiko gasped. Sybela laughed and unceremoniously rested a hand on her shoulder. "No, he means to go drinking after, bit of a tradition we developed. Besides, doesn't matter how flashy you are, you don't have armor or combat training. Leave this one to the professionals, princess. Keiko was torn between offended anger and begrudging acceptance that she didn't belong on a battlefield. Nevertheless, Seth stepped in to defend her. "She was more professional than you are in terms of assassination, Sybela. Still don't understand why you took that job to off some Trang'aul all on your own. Oh would you shut up about that? You got yourself a net jock out of it. The rabbit protested. "He might if you stop bringing up your one night stand. Keiko suggested, watching as the two mercenaries looked away from one another. "My word, I've seen little children more mature than the two of you. None of your business, your majesty. Sybela shot back. Seth just closed his eyes and rubbed his temples. He pushed the conversation forward. "Sybela, are you going to remain here or head back to the den. I'll be there; I've got everything set up already. Just need to tell it to start looking for anything Oro related, as well as the usual Sekhama stuff. Damn hard to pin down Octavia, but I'll let you know. Princess, it's been a pleasure. Sybela said with some amount of sincerity before gathering her things and leaving. "She even left us the garbage. Keiko muttered after the door closed. Seth moved to stand beside her. "It's a good thing she's one of the best net technicians I've ever seen. Makes tolerating her much easier. he admitted. "Still don't want to talk about it. Keiko asked, glancing his way. "Would you want to discuss your sexual failings with a princess, my lady. At least you've had a sexual anything. Keiko retorted, eliciting a bout of coughing from the human. "But enough about that. You're really going to help Commander Octavia? How. Finally, a subject of conversation that won't have anyone's undergarments twisted into knots. Shall we? Perhaps this can be a teaching moment. Seth gestured to the table and they seated themselves anew. "What do you plan on teaching me. Keiko asked, allowing her curiosity to show through. "A bit about how someone like me thinks about a job, decides where or when to act. And if my lady is feeling generous I hoped you might give me some insight into how the Sekhama. I'm sorry Seth, I can't do that. I won't do that. Keiko clarified abruptly. Seth seemed unperturbed. He waved it off casually. "I had expected as much, my lady. Please, there's no reason to be looking like that. I hate how much I want to trust you, Seth. Keiko lamented, finding a pair of sympathetic brown eyes looking back at her. "It would be easier, wouldn't it. He agreed. "You feel as though you're among people who are on your side and we get deeply privileged intelligence on the Sekhama. You don't need to use that tone, Seth. I understand just how ridiculous that sounds. Keiko replied. They both smiled thinly at one another. "And so you chose the hard path, as a just ruler must. It matters not, my lady. I will ensure my team is in place before dark. Perhaps you can tell us a story while we wait. Talon and Argos. I suppose they can do without the story. or you can use this. Seth said with a wink, using his own lens to direct her around their team's little program. A handful of options could be found below the icon that allowed one to communicate with the whole team. "You would have to be near my terminal, of course, which I will leave open and partially accessible to you, my lady. That icon you see there will garble your voice. We use it whenever we are in an area of significant hostile network traffic or when we have reason to believe someone is listening on the other side. It is entirely up to you, but I'm never above playing a practical joke on my teammates. I'll think about it, Seth. Keiko promised before returning them to the subject at hand. "Will you teach me a bit about what's going to happen tonight. Yes, of course. Pardon the distraction, Lady Keiko. Seth stood and walked over to his armor, rummaging around until he located a holodisc just like Sybela's. He returned and set it on the table before them, taking a moment to drink Keiko in. "Seth. Her voice was more curious than anything else. She sounded so pleasant to him in that moment. "Would a bit of nature be to your liking. I. yes, that sounds nice. she confirmed. At her affirmation Seth fiddled with his lens for a moment and the sounds of the midday savannah surrounded them. "I have it set to only activate in the morning and evening. It helps with sleep, I find, but should you ever wish it just let me know. he offered. Keiko found herself able to relax a bit, leaning forward on the table and extending her legs. "Shall we talk, Seth. Let's talk, my lady. Seth agreed, activating his holo and showing her a map of the capital and the surrounding environs. After a few moments of searching he highlighted the palace, a fortified military airfield outside the city limits, the Oro's den, and Psygenics main office. "That should just about do it. Now then, my lady, given that we know Savannah survived, spoke with Octavia, and delivered your message, what do you believe he's likely to do. I told him to act at his discretion, which means he'll do whatever he can to make a raid happen…but…" Keiko trailed off. "Yes, my lady. How dangerous is this area. Keiko asked, pointing to the neighborhood that bordered the corporate district. "Idris won't send them into a death trap. No, history says he won't. unless the opportunity justifies the risk. Seth clarified. "What do you mean. Let's check the news, shall we. Seth suggested, extending his terminal on a metal arm that allowed it to turn and face the table. After a few adjustments he had three separate news broadcasts up, including the palace's, as well as a quadrant of the screen where he threw in a few search terms. "Oh yes, my lady, I believe your Sekhama think they've got a big one on their hands. How do you know that. Keiko demanded, not enjoying how this mercenary seemed to know more about the Sekhama than she did. "Let's review, shall we? We know thanks to Sybela that the Sekhama infiltrated both Psygenics and the Oro last night. Those taps are not ongoing. We know that, reasonably, your Commander Octavia does not lead stupid raids just to bring back a bunch of mnyama pelts. There will always be more mnyama than Sekhama. But the Trang'aul was different, right. Correct, Lady Keiko. All of Alhamkara watched that particular drama unfold. No one, not even the Wildfire would have interfered. Can you imagine the outrage if they had? Trying to stop the Sekhama from retrieving you from the clutches of those dastardly hyenas? The commoners would have opened their homes to the military itself if it meant the Wildfire's destruction. Perception is everything. she whispered. "Precisely, my lady. Today, however, there have been no announcements from the Sekhama. The palace has said nothing other than that the search for you is ongoing. They aren't even announcing that Octavia knows you're alive. For now that appears wise to me, keeps the enemy on edge. After a week or two they will be forced to reveal something as the populace wonders if the Sekhama are impotent. I suppose I can understand that. Keiko agreed. "Honestly, Seth, would people be that upset. The human gave her an appraising look. "You wish an unvarnished evaluation of yourself. Of course. She yelped. "My handmaidens only ever say what they think I want to hear, Lyria exempted. As dear as she is to me, she only understands a palace perspective. Now tell me. Many people in this city would die for you, Lady Keiko. Seth told her seriously. "And before you protest, allow me to finish. You've been a public face since you became a woman. You struck out often into your city, if under heavy guard. It's understandable. Many would do you harm and it only takes one to succeed. You advocate tirelessly for the Sekhama, who enjoy a sterling reputation compared to both the police and the military, and you are the reason we can drink the water from our taps again. Every roof, even in the foulest slum, has a durable, easily maintained solar powered purifier thanks to your insistence that funding be diverted from the restoration of various human monuments throughout the nation. For every well to do fanatic you angered, hundreds praise your name for making those blueprints free. Sybela's old corporation even helped install some of them as part of a charity outreach. Wait, Sybela used to be corporate. Keiko asked, her ears already jingling happily as Seth told her of the success of her first real initiative as heir to the throne. "Yes, and on the way to the top. She was undercut and betrayed. More is not for me to say. Seth said, scratching his chin. "She may be an annoyance, but she values loyalty above all else. Alex. Keiko cocked her brow skeptically. Seth looked remorsefully at the wall. "So long as her credits are good Alex will always be there and willing to serve her as she requests. He won't get killed in a gang war, he won't meet a mercenary's end, their relationship isn't subject to the thorny intricacies of the heart. He is exactly what she wants. And what is it that you want. Keiko whispered, suddenly yearning to know. His facial expression hardened until it resembled his mask. "I told you, death and vengeance. What does your heart want. Keiko pressed, narrowing her sunburst eyes at him. "You'll never survive this if you don't want anything afterwards. As I said yesterday, survival isn't- Seth was cut off as Keiko slammed her fist on the table. "Shut up! You think Markhan will fall to someone like you. Keiko yelled. "Why do you think I tried so hard to get the Sekhama access to the harem? I don't care if your answer is something depraved or lacking in sensibility. If I'm going to work with you I need to know that you have the will to not leave me locked up in here and die. Seth only spoke after a long, stunned silence as the hologram flickered between them. "We were just speaking about tonight's. Well I'm not! I'm going to be queen of Alhamkara, Seth. Unlike you, apparently, I plan to survive this war you want to fight. I have to think of the long game. Everything you can tell me here today is valuable, but it means nothing if you die and I lose my sword. Your sword. Seth asked, honestly unsure how to reply to the princess's insistence that he was now her instrument. I suppose this is what they refer to as the tables turning. "Am I wrong, mercenary. She accused, placing both hands on the table. "An idealistic woman with deep pockets and a flexible moral compass, I believe you said. He smiled wickedly. "Indeed. Woe to your enemies the day you ascend to power, my lady. I already have power according to you, Seth. You are not leaving this room until you tell me something, anything, that will compel you to come back. I don't care what it is; it could even be- Keiko brought a hand to her mouth as she realized where her rant was about to take her. Seth's eyes were wide as dinner plates as he finished for her in a panicked voice. "No my lady, you cannot. Me. Keiko finished fiercely the moment he told her she couldn't. "Even if it's me. Even if barbaric, human lust for your princess is what gets you back then that's acceptable if you kill them all. Now continue to instruct me, Seth. We've gone on a bit of a tangent. I appear to be in far, far over my head. Seth admitted, looking over at his terminal screen to shield him from the gaze of the princess that he felt might shatter him. "As you wish, my lady. There doesn't appear to be any attempt by the palace to influence public opinion regarding the Oro or Psygenics. Given what we've already discussed why do you think that might be. Keiko tapped a finger against her lips for a long while before replying. "This isn't really even about the Oro, is it. I'm inclined to agree, my lady. Even with advanced warning a mnyama can only do so much against an unobstructed Sekhama operation. However…" he led her, hoping she would understand his meaning. "If Psygenics is working with them and they knew a raid was coming they could tie off loose ends. She answered proudly. Seth smiled at his 'pupil. And then there might be more Sybelas in this world. he concluded. "Yes, my lady, as it stands I believe if the Sekhama move at all they will do so without warning, secure whatever they can, and use it to make arrests of anyone involved from Psygenics. I had thought Savannah simply got some new breasts and removed her tail, maybe got unique lenses. It would appear the truth runs much deeper. Let's hope your medical staff is up to the task. As for us, perhaps we might discuss the Sekhama in a way that does not involve you revealing their secrets to me. If we are to aid them, we must anticipate their movements. The airfield? That's only one of many. Keiko mused, looking at the other glowing compound on the map. "I doubt they'll risk walking. I admit my knowledge of the Sekhama's access to military assets is limited, my lady. And I have no intention of telling you, Seth, not until you and Octavia speak to one another. Yet again Keiko managed to render him speechless for a long while. "The long game indeed, Lady Keiko. All I will say for now is that in all my time I've yet to properly pin down how, when, and where the Sekhama will move. Should we contact Sybela? See if she has any other insights. Keiko asked, noticing it was already the early afternoon. "In a moment. Come here. Seth requested, indicating that she should sit next to him. Keiko did so warily. "Already decided to cave to your base male desires. She teased. He shook his head. "You are taking every advantage of your freedom, aren't you. Yes, of course. I just want to see your lens, my lady. It's about time you were added to this program properly. If only so you need not read about Sybela's exploits. he explained. Keiko granted access and watched as he made the appropriate changes to add a fifth member. "You really think that bugs me, Seth? I'd say it gets to you far more than me. It is not talk fit for a princess. he insisted, giving her status indicator the designation 'sunburst. Keiko smiled and nodded to indicate she approved of the codename. "Seth, a rabbit taking a jaguar in her ass is nothing. I've seen a woman take seven men at once in the harem. A couple of them were very well endowed species. Keiko informed him with no small air of superiority. "I love that stupid look you get when girls act like they have needs too. The harem is one of the crown's greatest assets. I just decided to educate myself a bit early. I didn't know the palace allowed their staff to be. used in such a way. he replied, trying hard not to think of such a depraved act in too much detail with Keiko being so close. "Seth. she said with a devious smile. "Yes, my lady. She was the client. Previous] p. First] f. Next] n.
